Description:You will be the Business Development Analyst Principle for the S&GS Advanced Programs (AP) team. Our team is responsible for advancing sensor technologies and delivering mission‑critical RF solutions to government and commercial customers.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Business Development Analyst Principle you will be responsible for shaping market strategy, driving product development, and forging strategic relationships with DoD/DoW Science and Technology (S&T) laboratories.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Establish and nurture key relationships with DoD/DoW S&T labs, capturing Contract Research and Development (CRAD) opportunities.
- Conduct market, competitive, and technology‑trend analyses to define product vision and long‑term roadmaps.
- Develop business cases, ROI analyses, and go‑to‑market strategies for emerging RF sensor technologies.
- Partner with systems, software, and hardware engineering teams to drive concept development, prototype validation, and specification definition.
- Support budget development and financial planning for the S&GS Advanced Programs and the RF Product Center.

Basic Qualifications:Familiarity with Science & Technology organizations, the USG acquisition process, and the development of the POM to support service objectives.
Experience working with S&T labs and service requirements offices. Familiarity with current service force structure postures and long term service vision.
An aptitude for strategic, financial analysis, capture management and teaming.
Polished communicator who is able to establish and maintain rapport with internal and external senior leaders.
Knowledge of the USG RDT&E and the federal acquisition process.
Experience in the defense contracting capture process.
Must have a current active Secret security clearance.
Must have the ability to travel up to 25%
Desired Skills:Thorough understanding of business case development. Technically grounded with demonstrated ability to convey complex technical concepts to laymen. Previous success in working with S&T labs. Business acumen, strong analytical and problem solving skills, and sound judgment. Passion for personal accountability, achievement, and continual improvement. Proclivity towards teaming and collaboration--team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
