As a Product Support Operations Consultant, you will play a key role in improving dealer operational performance and aftermarket processes across the EAME region. Working closely with Caterpillar teams and our dealer network, you will lead initiatives that enhance efficiency, customer experience, and business growth through strategic collaboration and process excellence.
This role will have a specific focus on the execution of Customer Value Agreements (CVAs) and Condition Monitoring to ensure operational excellence and deliver on customer commitments.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to enhance dealer operational performance and aftermarket processes, with a strong emphasis on CVA execution and Condition Monitoring.
- Drive process improvement projects that improve efficiency, customer experience, and aftermarket growth within the Africa, Middle East, and Eurasia Region.
- Collaborate with dealers and internal teams to develop and implement strategic plans that strengthen service delivery and operational capabilities.
- Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities for optimization in equipment maintenance, repair, and utilization.
- Facilitate training and capability-building programs for dealer personnel to support continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Conduct performance assessments and operational reviews to ensure compliance with best practices and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed on industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend innovative solutions that enhance customer value.
- Act as a trusted advisor to dealers, providing guidance on operational excellence and aftermarket strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of experience in the heavy equipment, construction, mining, or related industries with a strong understanding of aftermarket business models.
- Proven ability to manage projects, drive process improvements, and deliver measurable business results.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make strategic recommendations.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills to engage with dealers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in dealer operations, CVA execution, or aftermarket support, including Condition Monitoring.
- Knowledge of Caterpillar products and dealer network (preferred but not mandatory).
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Additional languages are an advantage – Arabic and French are particularly desirable.
