Caterpillar's Fleet Monitoring Center is hiring 2 Condition Monitoring Advisors (CMA)! These roles will monitor the five elements of condition monitoring: electronic data, fluid analysis, equipment inspections, repair history and site conditions to provide relevant recommendations as indicated by the data. These recommendations will help customers lower owning and operating costs, improve availability, and reduce warranty costs.
What You'll Do
Aggregate and correlate the five elements of condition monitoring, where all are available.
Maintains working knowledge and expertise for each of the condition monitoring elements.
Provides operational and repair recommendations to Caterpillar customers and dealers.
Uses enabling software tools & systems to prioritize and analyze condition monitoring data inputs.
Extracts or is provided data from the appropriate business systems including customer, dealer and contractor sources.
Builds collaborative customer and dealer relationships & acts as a consultant with equipment management personnel.
Provides information for equipment management lead tracking and resolution.
Prepares standard written reports of recommendations for customers and their Caterpillar dealers on a monthly basis.
Facilitates ongoing customer meetings with Caterpillar dealers, industry groups, and Corporate Accounts.
Communicates verbal recommendations as required to customer and their Caterpillar dealers.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
Effective Communications: Strong communication skills – both written and verbal – that range from operational and technical discussions to executive level presentations.
Problem Solving: Aptitude to resolve issues either individually or through appropriate team guidance.
Relationship Management: Superior relationship building skills and the ability to execute through a team of Caterpillar, Dealer, and Customer personnel.
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Experience in either the product support, service operations, and/or engineering fields.
Working knowledge of how engines, transmissions, and/or hydraulic systems work and wear.
Experience with SIS - Service Information System.
Experience with telematics, inspection processes, equipment lifecycle planning, fluid analysis, and troubleshooting information.
Summary Pay Range:
$97,530.00 - $146,290.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
