Objective: The Manager, Custodial and Laundry Services, is responsible for the complete operational oversight and strategic management of the Custodial and Laundry Services, totaling approximately 40 employees and 3 Leads. The manager will report directly to the Director of Logistics (DOL). This role ensures high-quality service delivery, schedule adherence, success of all custodial and laundry services and ensuring compliance with all organizational regulations and the Technical Data Package (TDP). The Manager serves as a critical link between the operation control center (OCC) and base housing office and Housing warehouse. Receive new daily work orders and you will ensure the work orders are closed on time. Manage the field operations and administrative reporting and times sheets are compliant, and some interaction with the U.S. Government.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision:
- Directly manage and mentor the two Custodial Leads and Laundry Lead personnel, providing guidance and performance feedback.
- Manage the daily activities and performance of the combined team of approximately 40 employees.
- Ensure all staff adhere to established daily schedules, task lists, and safety procedures.
Operations & Reporting:
- Oversee the completion, accuracy, and timely submission of all required daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
- Work directly with the Operations Control Center (OCC)
- Serve as a liaison with both the Laundry and Custodial COR’s.
- Ensure operational compliance and service standards are consistently met across all functional areas.
Required Qualifications
- Supervisory or management experience.
- Full professional proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Bilingual fluency in both Spanish and English is preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to manage complex schedules and multiple tasks simultaneously.
- A bachelor’s degree preferred or 1 year as a supervisor or manager experience per year of the degree.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization.
