Pratt & Whitney Digital Technology has an exciting new opportunity for a highly skilled Director, Business Relationship Management (BRM) - Engineering.
This position will be an onsite position based out of our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location.

Key Responsibilities:
- Understand P&W’s Engineering strategy, processes, and challenges to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Strong interface with the business: being the voice of the Partners to DT and the DT evangelist to the business.
- Manage the P&W Engineering DT portfolio: executive-level project portfolio review, scoping and management of new demand (including prioritization based on value and capacity) and review of the current DT landscape (list of applications, cost, next upgrade, etc.).
- Define strategic roadmaps with business partners to enable capabilities aligned with company objectives.
- Measure the value of initiatives to ensure outcomes are achieved and benefits realized.
- Partner with stakeholders to develop, document (scope, value, subject matter expertise, etc.) and mature ideas, considering digital opportunities, risks, and business needs.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships and develop deep knowledge of business operations.
- High political acumen and executive presence.
- Drive value realization through business case development, financial oversight, and ongoing opportunity identification.
- Translate strategic goals into prioritized digital initiatives to guide technology investments.
- Collaborate with other BRMs and the Enterprise Architecture team to identify enterprise-level synergies.
- Provide leadership to partner with the various DT Delivery teams to plan the work per quarter, the capacity, review the escalation required, etc.
- Educate stakeholders on digital processes, roles, and capabilities.
- Establish clear communication channels across business functions.
- Manage the BRM function’s budget and ensure accurate forecasting.
- Co-develop multi-year digital roadmaps with Enterprise Architecture.
- Partner with change management to support business transformation.
- Work with the PMO to maintain a healthy, strategically aligned initiative portfolio.
- Provide internal leadership and oversight across full engineering portfolio of work spanning PW SBUs.
- Business Architect for P&W Engineering & PWC Engineering.
- This position has been designated as ‘onsite’, requiring regular in-person presence at our East Hartford, CT location.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related technical field with 14+ years of experience in Digital Technologies and/or Business Management; OR an advanced degree with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience.
- BRMP and/or PMP and/or Prince II Certification considered as an asset.
- Proven experience in a similar role required.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align business needs with digital capabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Skilled at managing multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative and influential, with the ability to lead without direct authority.
Results-driven, with a strong focus on delivering measurable business value.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
