Workforce planning and forecasting

Manage and optimize Logistics team of support staff responsible for all aspects of dock-to-stock material flow

Employee hiring, training, and performance

Collaboration with leaders across the enterprise to formulate material, production and logistics plans and requirements, and identify and meet organizational goals and objectives
-
Interacting with front line leaders and their teams to ensure accuracy and velocity of material positions
-
Ensuring the enforcement of company policies and procedures
-
Ensuring compliance with all regulations and internal audit protocols
-
Ensuring material movements meet contractual quality, and cost by planning, organizing, and directing the flow of material
-
Evaluation of leading and lagging metrics that drive and/or affect material flow process
-
Area layout and material flow optimization
-
Driving continuous improvement and demonstrated capability to utilize Lean Six Sigma as a key enabler to accomplish these improvements Raytheon Company - Unrestricted Content

Capital identification and control of overhead expenses

Achieving/exceeding cost, quality, delivery, safety goals and identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities.
Qualifications You Must Have
-
Typically requires university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years of prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 8 years of experience.

Experience in one or more of those areas: Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Inventory and/or Warehousing environment

Self-Starter who requires minimal supervision, as well as the ability to juggle priorities

Strong interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and the ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment

Ability to interface across the business, to deal professionally with all levels of the organization

Strong analytical, problem solving and business skills

Ability to lead in a team-based, customer focused, safety conscious manufacturing environment and make decisions with minimal supervision

Excellent communication (written and verbal) uses appropriate levels of energy to create enthusiasm

Logistics experience in the aerospace/defense industry
-
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Word)

Experience with logistics, warehousing, and receiving operations
-
Experience with logistics execution in an Enterprise Resource Planning system such as SAP/Oracle/Other

Experience with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma or other similar process improvement methodologies
-
ASCM CLTD/CSCP or equivalent

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
