Johnson & Johnson Global Services is seeking a highly qualified GS Finance Solutions & Innovation Supervisor to support the Orthopedics Project. This role forms part of the Global Services Finance organization, supporting GS ATR, ITC, and Compliance operations. We are looking for an experienced finance professional with strong analytical skills, leadership through influence, and the ability to operate effectively in a global and dynamic environment.
The Global Services Finance organization delivers best‑in‑class, cost‑efficient financial services and compliance solutions to J&J Operating Companies worldwide. By combining deep process knowledge, operational excellence, and a continuous‑improvement mindset, we ensure consistent, high‑quality financial results across regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support GS Finance in the execution of FS&I projects, ensuring alignment with project strategy, milestones, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders, including external consulting firms, involved in FS&I initiatives.
- Lead communication efforts for all project stakeholders and senior leadership, including project status updates, meeting minutes, and documentation of key decisions.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and feedback to team members and subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Conduct balance sheet flux analyses for businesses undergoing divestitures or acquisitions.
- Ensure accuracy in carve‑in and carve‑out processes related to the preparation of “stand‑alone company” financial statements.
- Support statutory processes and audit requirements to ensure compliance with financial reporting standards.
Leadership & Influence
Provide functional leadership and technical guidance to team members, ensuring quality and efficiency in deliverables.
Foster collaboration and alignment across diverse teams and geographies.
Communicate effectively in multicultural environments, influencing stakeholders and driving results.
Demonstrate ownership and accountability for critical processes and approvals.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- Three to four years of experience in finance, accounting, financial compliance, credit and collections, or similar roles.
- Strong experience with accounting processes, financial statement certification, and audit support in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Proficiency with SAP, Power BI, and Power Apps.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, collaborate across teams, and drive outcomes without direct authority.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Advanced English is required due to frequent interaction with global teams.
- Portuguese is considered a plus but is not required.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, propose process improvements, and meet strict deadlines.
- Proven ability to build trust and collaborate effectively in virtual and multicultural environments.
