Johnson & Johnson Global Services is recruiting a GS Finance Solutions & Innovation Manager based in Bogotá, Colombia, supporting GS ATR, ITC, and Compliance scope.
The Global Services Finance organization provides best‑in‑class, cost‑effective financial services and compliance—in a J&J way—to our Operating Companies worldwide. With strong expertise in financial processes, deep understanding of customer requirements, controls, and business drivers, combined with a continuous‑improvement mindset, we deliver consistently high‑quality operational results.
The GS FS&I Manager supports all financial processes within the GSF scope related to business transitions, divestitures, and acquisitions. This role requires strong leadership through influence, the ability to manage multiple deliverables and deadlines, and a high level of independence and motivation.
No travel is expected for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support GS Finance in executing FS&I projects aligned with strategy, milestones, and deliverables.
- Maintain strong accountability for meeting project deadlines, deliverables, and financial commitments.
- Effectively partner with stakeholders across functions, including external consulting firms involved in FS&I initiatives.
- Oversee and manage communication of project status to stakeholders and senior leadership, including meeting minutes, updates, risks, and escalation.
- Lead, guide, and engage FS&I team members, providing mentorship, feedback, and talent development.
- Lead the review and analysis of P&L and Balance Sheet for divested or acquired business units.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in carve‑in and carve‑out processes to prepare stand‑alone financial statements.
- Ensure effective change and risk management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain end‑to‑end accounting process oversight, driving standardization and continuous improvement.
- Leverage digital finance tools including SAP, Power BI, and Power Apps to drive innovation, reporting efficiency, and process optimization.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- Advanced degrees or certifications (MBA, CMA, CPA, Master’s) are preferred.
Experience and Skills
Required
- +4 years of experience in finance, accounting, credit & collections, compliance, or related fields.
- Strong background in accounting, certification of financial statements, and statutory audit processes.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience and commitment to people development.
- Experience managing high‑volume deliverables and meeting strict deadlines.
- Strong digital capability with SAP, Power BI, and Power Apps.
- Advanced English required due to regular interaction with global teams.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and business partnering skills.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and influence decision‑making across teams.
- Ability to build trust and collaborate in global, virtual, and matrixed environments.
Preferred
- Experience participating in or managing global, complex projects.
- Working knowledge of technical accounting and financial compliance.
- Portuguese is a plus but not mandatory.
