Senior Associate, M&A Services Hiring Our Heroes - Strategy Fellowship

As a Hiring Our Heroes Strategy Fellow at KPMG, you'll have the chance to gain experience in our Strategy practice. This will give you a unique opportunity to work alongside our leaders and learn how KPMG helps our clients overcome complex challenges.
The Hiring Our Heroes Corporate fellowship program offers transitioning military members a 12-week fellowship while they remain employed by the Military. During this time, Fellows will engage in a learning experience crafted by KPMG that prepares them for a career outside of the military. Fellows will gain first-hand experience designed to help them determine if a corporate career is the right choice for them. Upon completing the 12-week fellowship, there may be opportunities for Fellows to be considered for a full-time position.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the creation and implementation of integration and separation services (can include diligence and/or synergy analysis) and aid with business and practice development initiatives
- Lead a functional work stream on a project or support project team in leading multiple work streams and running an integration or separation management office (IMO/SMO)
- Work with cross-functional teams in implementing services and lead team interviews and workshops
- Provide support in the development and presentation of final project deliverables

Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of recent experience in developing and implementing mergers and acquisitions/ M&A integration and separation services within a consulting advisory firm with additional experience in corporate strategy or development a plus
- MBA from an accredited university preferred; minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university/college is required
- Experience managing multiple complex initiatives within the complete M&A life cycle Ability to function effectively on both large and small teams
- Excellent foundational consulting skills: analytical, written and verbal communication, strong executive presence, facilitation and presentation skills
- Travel as necessary
