Description:You will be the Subcontract Administrator Staff for the Subcontract Administration team. Our team is responsible for delivering high‑impact subcontract solutions that enable global sustainment of critical programs.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Administrator Staff you will be responsible for shaping the full lifecycle of major subcontract procurements, from definition through award and administration.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms for major specialized constructions, materials, equipment, and services.
- Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders’ conferences, and create clear evaluation criteria.
- Analyze proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, and recommend or select subcontractors.
- Administer awarded subcontracts, manage modifications, and coordinate with contracts administration and purchasing.
- Lead major projects, provide guidance without direction, and contribute innovative solutions and new concepts.

Basic Qualifications:• Knowledge of and experience with FAR/DFAR, LMAP, CAP, and other acquisition policies.
• Expertise in building trades, materials, industrial gases, machinery, and maintenance.
• Proactive with strong customer‑service orientation; able to manage a challenging workload efficiently.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills; self‑starter attitude.
• Strong computer proficiency; experience with SAP or a comparable system.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
