J&J MedTech’s hub in Irvine, CA is a state-of-the-art facility that is home to four vibrant, high-growth businesses and nearly 1,800 employees. The Campus Site Leader will work across local leadership teams in driving effective campus governance, culture and community, bringing platform and functional teams together to leverage ideas, resources, and talent. Equally important, the Campus Site Leader will build connections with the Orange County community and other J&J MedTech sites, while positioning the campus as a center of innovation and source of top talent, advanced technology, and collaboration. This role will be responsible for enhancing the employee experience, building community, responding dynamically to employee needs and providing feedback to the site leadership teams for continuous improvement.
He or she will report to Director, Strategic Support, Electrophysiology & Neurovascular and be a key member of our cross-functional Irvine Campus facilities and operations team.
Responsibilities:
• Shape, elevate and enhance our Irvine campus culture by creating meaningful employee experiences that encourage collaboration and drive innovation to elevate J&J MedTech to be an employer of choice in Orange County and Southern California.
• Serve as decision support leader for cross-business, cross-functional governance forum and campus leader steering committee to formulate and execute current and long-range strategies and provide oversight of the campus community; ensure workplace initiatives are supportive of business objectives.
• Lead the footprint strategy for the Irvine campus partnering with key business partners and offering subject-matter expertise to leaders to support business strategic growth and future direction of the campus, including reimagining connectivity and physical spaces within and across buildings located on our campus; act as business single point of contact for J&J engineering and real estate teams for campus expansion projects.
• Lead campus communications strategy and execution to keep site employees informed, connected, and engaged; Create awareness of site programs and amenities (sustainability, global health services, fitness center) through ongoing activities and activations to promote on-site amenities.
• Proactively collaborate with employee resource groups, business leaders, and executive leadership teams to coordinate and lead activities, events and celebrations throughout the year to drive positive employee sentiment and create and active culture at our campus.
• Develop interactive campus ambassador etiquette programs and educate employees on workplace best practices based on industry knowledge and ongoing development of innovative approaches to grow and support a high-impact workplace community.
• Partner with Facilities team to develop and monitor key performance metrics to measure Campus utilization and assess service and program delivery effectiveness and performance; Capture anecdotal and formal feedback on an ongoing basis to inform/identify areas of opportunity for improvement and support.
• Serve as business leader on campus crisis management team; maintain site’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
• Continuously identify areas of change/ improvement and support.
• Encourage and promote the J&J Credo and culture.
• General administrative support (budgetary control, reporting and governance, site specific duties); Support special projects as needed.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required
• A minimum of 8 years relevant experience is required
• Ability to influence strategy, set clear goals, and drive performance, with a demonstrated track record of achieving measurable results is required
• Strong project management skills, with experience in managing large-scale initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes and timely execution is required
• Ability to build and maintain strong collaborations at all levels of the organization, including senior business leaders, is required

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$122,000.00 - $212,750.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
