This first-line leadership position will manage a portfolio of manufacturing applications and technologies. With a portion of the Enterprise Strategy focused on Modern Manufacturing and Technology Leadership, the role will be instrumental to the future success of facilities worldwide. It will be fast-paced, highly visible, and driving the latest in available technology to support people and processes in every corner of the globe.
What You Will Do:
Direct experience with manufacturing, quality, execution, and supporting systems, such as NX CAD/CAM, Teamcenter/VPP, CAPP+, MESA/MESM, in one or more facilities is required. Familiarity with Caterpillar IT processes and procedures is highly desirable. The successful candidate will be motivated by customer success, committed to value-based outcomes, adept at managing numerous projects simultaneously, handle high-stress situations gracefully, and heavily biased toward action and velocity.
What You Have:
Understanding of IT Controls
Ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds (technical, managerial, vendors)
Excellent communication skills
Understand how to manage a budget
Understand ITSM policies
Top Candidates Will Also Have:
Experience managing a global team (of both Cat and Agency resources)
Knowledge of the Caterpillar IT Offer to Sell process
Ability to recognize and promote growth opportunities for team members
Understanding of the purchasing process (FR3, Guided Buy, Coupa)

Summary Pay Range:
$147,760.00 - $221,640.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
