Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Manufacturing Innovation and Transformation (MIT) Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Software Engineer.
The primary responsibility of this role is to act as the Product Owner for a Scrum team of software developers.
The person in this role will support the MIT department's objective to develop world class software tools that reduce lead time and increase the efficiency of the Production Engineering division.
What you’ll be doing
Understand customer problems, business processes and needs and translate those into high-quality user stories that instruct the Scrum team members on what to develop
Prioritize the backlog so that the team is working on the most valuable work first
Deliver outstanding customer experiences for our internal PE customers
Track and visualize status of software projects and related budgets
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field
Experience as a software engineer, including ability to write code
Experience working on a Scrum team as Scrum Master or Product Owner
Working knowledge of Agile concepts and tools
Added bonus if you have
Experience working as a product owner of a software development scrum team
Experience developing web applications for business using the .NET framework
Experience creating PowerBI dashboards
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification
Experience building and deploying web applications in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment
Experience working in Toyota’s Production Engineering division
