Role description:
As a Pricing Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting Sales Variance processes for the Americas regions and working on projects related to the Sales Variance evolution. Sales variance and merchandising programs are critical for driving aftermarket growth, and this position is part of a key support team for the industry marketing/sales teams and the dealers. Sales Variance refers to the dollars which fund the Merchandising Programs that are used to grow and develop the aftermarket. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing and approving claims and programs in the Latin America region. Your daily tasks will include advising business partners and dealers on sales variance claims and compliance issues. The position acts as a trusted advisor to dealers, ASR’s and marketing/sales teams, ensuring lean and compliant processes. It involves managing work assignments, coordinating with others, and resolving issues by determining the best course of action. The role impacts key quality goals like timeliness, accuracy, and efficiency, and works to refine processes for optimal resource and technology use.
What You Will Do:
- Daily Review and Approval of Claims for Latin America as well as supporting World Wide during peak activities
- Regular review and approval of Merchandising programs with a focus on compliance
- Support the Pricing solution Team on commercial consultation as needed
- Lead quarterly training for America’s Program Creators
- SME / Lead on specific America’s Sales variance related projects
- Support on Compliance processes
- UAT (User acceptance Testing) activities for Merchandising as needed
Skills:

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Effective Communications: Understanding effective communication concepts, tools, and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Basic Requirements:
- University Degree preferably in Business/Marketing/Management.
- Pre Advanced English
- Intermediate Spanish
Top Candidates Will Have:
- Experience in claims processing and/or auditing.
- Proven expertise in Sales Variance and/or Parts Pricing.
- Familiarity with working alongside dealers and Caterpillar field reps an Caterpillar Aftermarket understanding
- Fluent in English and Spanish
Additional information:
- Professionals within the program must be willing to travel as needed for customer support.
Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
