The Role:
The Controls Engineer is an Individual contributor with recognized expertise responsible for troubleshooting, problem solving and continuous improvement on manufacturing equipment throughout the plant.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Work cross-functionally with diverse teams throughout the plant to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Identify and document system vulnerabilities and develop inclusive mitigation plans; track corrective actions to ensure accountability.
- Design and manage key strategic interfaces within systems to promote component reuse and consistency with best practices.
- Create and implement tests to efficiently identify opportunities for design improvements.
- Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to foster innovation and continuous improvement.
Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or 4+ equivalent experience
- Ability to work off shift on a full-time basis
- Ability to work OT as needed
What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1+ years of demonstrated technical knowledge of electrical/control systems and ability to apply these concepts within a manufacturing environment
- 1+ years of experience in Control Architectures:
- PLC: Allen Bradley
- Robotics: Fanuc / ABB
- Vision: Cognex / Keyence - Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Knowledge of high voltage power distribution
- Knowledge of servo motors, motion control and drives
- Demonstrated understanding of mechanical concepts involving machine designs, process requirements involved in the manufacturing process
- Experience working in a Manufacturing Environment
- Ability to use computers, interpret blueprints, engineering drawings and learn new systems
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple and significantly complex projects and assignments with high level of autonomy and accountability for results
Compensation:

The expected base compensation for this role is: $83,800 - $127,300. Actual base compensation within the identified range will vary based on factors relevant to the position.
