Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Lead Radiologic Technologist, you’ll play an imperative role in guiding a team that delivers safe, accurate, and patient-centered imaging every day. You’ll mentor technologists, optimize workflows, and ensure the team has the tools and support to perform with confidence. What you will do:
- You will rotate to other ambulatory surgery center facilities
- You will be responsible for the knowledge and performance of all diagnostic procedures
- You will confirm that all persons in the room are appropriately shielded before activating x-ray
- Communicate information about your patient’s status to other persons responsible for your patient’s care
- You will be responsible for the required maintenance of instruments, supplies, and equipment by adhering to cleaning care, storage, and calibration procedures
Qualifications you will need:
- Graduate of an accredited radiology school required
- 3-5 year experience; preferably in an ambulatory surgery center
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technicians (ARRT) Required
- Valid BCLS Certification upon employment, online certification not acceptable
