About this Position As a Logistics, Planning & Operations Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, transparency, and financial integrity of our logistics operations. This position exists to make sure we pay the right amount for the right services—helping the company control freight spend, prevent financial leakage, and strengthen our partnerships with carriers. You’ll be part of a collaborative logistics and supply chain team, working closely with colleagues in Transport Planning, Logistics, Procurement, and Business Controlling. Together, you’ll help resolve billing issues, analyze trends, and uncover opportunities to optimize costs. What you´ll do
- Review and validate freight invoices against contracts, rate tables, and shipment data. Identify discrepancies, incorrect charges, and duplicate billing; manage dispute resolution with carriers
- Perform freight cost reconciliation between carriers, internal systems, and finance records
- Prepare and maintain regular reports and dashboards on freight spend, invoice accuracy, and trends
- Analyze data to identify cost drivers, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Partner with Logistics, Business Controlling, Procurement, and external carriers to resolve billing issues
- Provides backup support on transport planning
