Caterpillar is looking for a Fleet Manager (Construction and Mining Equipment) who would support and fulfill specific contractual commitments predominantly in Poland and potentially other Europe, Africa and Middle East territories.
The Fleet Manager will work directly with customers (and Dealers) Executive Management, Plant Management and Equipment Operators and have primary responsibility for managing the Dealer partnership, assuring strong relations and profitable Dealer results.

What Will You Do:
- Lead customer engagements and provide matrix leadership for contract execution
- Act as a liaison between various parties at Caterpillar, Dealers and key End-user personnel
- Successfully deliver all contractual obligations
- Analyse equipment data and advise on solution strategies
- Through your deep subject matter expertise in equipment management, production optimization, safety and financial structuring, you will provide a clear vision for success and drive high levels of execution
- Demonstrate your problem-solving skills in customer-working environments
- Cooperate with Caterpillar product groups and other Business Units to gain complete understanding of the technical and operational capabilities of our equipment, technology and services
- Create innovative new value-added capabilities to improve site operations
What You Will Have:
- Completed higher education studies with progressive experience in related fields (e.g. direct customer sales, product support or direct field experience)
- Proven expertise in direct customer sales or product support
- Ability to transform numerical data into business insight
- Aptitude towards working with heavy machinery and gaining knowledge of Caterpillar’s current product line
- Superior relationship building skills – building a true partnership based on mutual trust and respect is essential for the role
- Excellent communication skills that range from operational and technical discussions to Dealer Principal and Executive presentations both in Polish and English
- Subject matter expertise in the management of equipment fleets or direct responsibility for maintenance & repair contract management
- Willingness to travel up to 60% of the overall working hours (mostly in Poland, occasionally internationally predominantly in Europe)
- Ability to work from our office in Sosnowiec
