Role
This position ensures that all product changes for New Product Introduction (NPI) and New Source Introduction (NSI) are properly evaluated, documented, approved, and implemented within established timelines. The role is responsible for coordinating with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Manufacturing, and external suppliers to manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs). This position serves as a key point of contact for identifying, communicating, and resolving issues related to product changes to support compliant, efficient, and cost‑effective product launches.
What You Will Do
- Coordinate ECR/ECO activities across Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and suppliers.
- Serve as the main point of contact for identifying, communicating, and resolving issues related to product changes.
- Review and analyze engineering documentation, BOM changes, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Develop, maintain, and update change control documentation for NPI/NSI programs.
- Ensure timely implementation of product changes to support program schedules and readiness milestones.
- Prepare and deliver status reports on change actions, risks, approvals, and implementation progress.
Education requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial design, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, Product Design, or related field
- English level required: Intermediate to Advanced (conversational).

- Uses approved methodologies for analyzing and addressing problems.
- Recognizes key elements of problem‑solving techniques used in the area.
- Applies SAP (BOM & MM) and system‑based analysis to support resolution of engineering and manufacturing issues.
Manufacturing Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Ability to optimize planning for manufacturing cycles to ensure capacity and material availability.
- Describes basic concepts of materials and capacity management processes and procedures.
- Describes product lifecycle and associated MRP cycle.
- Identifies parameters and considerations used in production run decisions.
- Describes the use of bills of materials and required supply documentation.
- Explains the general flow of information throughout the manufacturing process and supply chain.
- Uses engineering drawings, BOMs, and specifications to support planning and change execution.
- Advanced SAP proficiency in BOM and MM modules.
- Knowledge of Teamcenter and PRWB systems to support engineering change and planning processes.
The best candidates will also have:
- A minimum of 2 years working with Engineering Change Management systems (ECR/ECO).
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong cross‑functional collaboration skills.
- Well‑developed problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
- Background in roles supporting NPI / NSI programs (New Product Introduction / New Supplier Introduction).
