We are hiring an Inventory Technicians to work in Dearborn, MI.
This is a position for thosewith some knowledge and experience in automotive, either on the job or as a hobby. We are looking for someone with a passion for automotive and an enthusiasm to learn automotive testing from a leader in the industry. Responsibilities:
- Track and monitor inventory of the laboratory
o Order parts when they run low
o Receive shipments
o Maintain Inventory tracking system and organization of the lab
o Organize all parts incoming and outgoing
- Other duties may include:
o Perform validation tests on vehicles/subsystems
o Follow test scripts to verify subsystems operate to design intent
o Follow scripted testing and support development of independent test strategies
o Monitor vehicle response and log data through in-vehicle data bus/data acquisition software
Isolate and log vehicle anomalies and document test information
MINIMUM EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, AND /OR SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with computer programs… Microsoft Office, Excel, Word…etc.
- Able to drive/operate manual and automatic vehicles
- Able to work first or second shifts
Preferred Experience:
- Ford Parts System- GSDB Docs and GPRIS
- Shipping Nationally/Internationally (Internally /Externally)
- Parts Procurement Experience
