About The Role
As a CBRE Meeting &Events Coordinator, you will assist with the planning, coordination, and day-of execution of meetings, conferences, and events. This role is integral to ensuringthe seamless delivery of high-quality events that meet client expectations.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee the setup, refresh, and removal of food, beverage,and service items to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with management to communicate department goalsand align event execution with client vision.
- Confirm pre-event setup, including space configurations and audio/visual requirements, ensuring all details arecomplete.
- Follow up with clients pre- and post-event to confirm satisfaction and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex client inquiries andescalated complaints efficiently.
- Assist in the execution of SLAs,KPIs, benchmarks, and recurring reports to maintain high service standards.
- Manage the meeting and eventscalendar for event spaces, ensuring optimal utilization.
- Order and manage event supplies as needed, maintaininginventory and ensuring availability.
- Gather and analyze data to identify andsolve complex problems, recommending new techniques and improvements.
- Impact own team and other teams whose work activities are closely related, fostering acollaborative environment.
What You’ll Need
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of job-related experience in event planning orcoordination.
- English Advanced (written-spoken)
- Comprehensive understanding of event planning processes,procedures, and systems.
- Strong organizational skillswith an advanced inquisitive mindset to continuously improve event execution.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Officeproducts, including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Advanced math skills with theability to calculate figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
- Excellent communication skills toevaluate and convey complex content in a concise and logical manner.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team,demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in managing client relationshipsand ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.
