Job Summary:
The Quality Technician supports manufacturing excellence by ensuring products and processes meet defined quality standards. This role performs inspections, analyzes non‑conformance data, supports root cause analysis, and maintains Quality Management System (QMS) documentation. The technician partners closely with manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams to drive corrective and preventive actions. The position requires strong attention to detail, foundational problem‑solving skills, and effective communication in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform product, process, and material inspections to ensure conformance with quality standards and specifications.
- Collect, analyze, and report non‑conformance data; support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Produce inspection and measurement reports; participate in Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA).
- Maintain and update Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and records.
- Train and support manufacturing and quality team members on inspection, testing, and quality requirements.
- Communicate quality issues clearly and collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve problems.
- Planned, executed, and supported internal and external audits, including audit readiness and closure of findings.
Educational Requirements:
- Education: Associate degree and/or Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing quality, inspection, or production support is desirable.
- Familiarity with inspection tools, gauges, and basic metrology concepts.
- Exposure to continuous improvement, corrective action, or audit support activities.
- ISO 9001 experience (desirable).

- Manufacturing Processes (Foundational): Understands manufacturing flows and inspection points.
- Product Testing (Foundational): Executes testing and inspection practices using standard tools.
- Effective Communication: Clearly shares findings and collaborates with cross‑functional teams.
- Quality Management Systems (QMS): Maintains records and follows documented quality procedures. New concepts/tools, integrate learning into practice, and help others develop.

- This position will be in Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon
- This position is five-days a week subject to changes and willingness to work sporadically on weekends.
