Administrative Assistant (Contract)
Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary
This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to a dynamic team of approximately 100 employees. The role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities including hardware procurement coordination, space and facilities management, event planning and execution, and handling various day-to-day administrative functions. The successful candidate will serve as a vital resource to both individual managers and the broader team, ensuring smooth operations and contributing to the overall efficiency of the department.
Job Responsibilities
- Coordinate and process hardware procurement requests and ordering activities for team members
- Manage space allocation and facilities coordination to support team operations
- Provide logistical support for team events, meetings, and special projects
- Assist with onboarding processes for new team members
- Manage and maintain schedules for managers and team leadership
- Coordinate travel arrangements and meeting logistics
- Handle day-to-day administrative tasks and respond to ad-hoc requests
- Support department financial operations and personnel coordination
- Complete special projects as assigned by management
- Serve as a point of contact for administrative needs across the team
Requirements
- 0-2 years of administrative support experience in corporate, educational, or retail settings
- 0-2 years of procurement or ordering experience
- Experience managing schedules and supporting day-to-day operations
- Bachelor's degree required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines
- Self-starter mindset with ability to work independently
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work products
- Problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
- Professional demeanor and interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Additional Details
- Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
- Duration: 2 months
- Pay Range*: $21 - $24 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
