Administrative Assistant (Contract)
Please note that this is a contract role providing services to Microsoft through external staffing partners of Allegis Global Solutions. If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by AGS and will not be an employee of Microsoft.
Summary
This position serves as a trusted operational partner who ensures leaders and teams can stay focused on strategic priorities by managing critical business rhythms and administrative functions. The role involves providing comprehensive support to all levels of management and external business partners during an active reorganization period. This professional will maintain continuity across day-to-day execution by proactively solving problems, managing sensitive information, and partnering with key stakeholders including HR, Finance, Procurement, and leadership to keep organizational commitments on track. The position requires managing complex administrative functions while demonstrating the ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes across multiple priorities simultaneously.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide calendar management and scheduling support for managers and teams across multiple stakeholders
- Coordinate travel arrangements and process business expenses in a timely and accurate manner
- Plan and coordinate meetings, events, and onsite activities for teams and groups
- Support department financial operations including budget tracking and basic financial coordination
- Manage personnel operations and facility operations to ensure smooth daily functioning
- Oversee procurement of goods and services including computer equipment, office supplies, and reference materials
- Maintain and develop vendor relationships to support departmental needs
- Provide general office support and serve as the primary department and group contact
- Support team operations during the active reorganization period
- Perform basic tracking tasks using tools such as Excel and demonstrate willingness to learn new productivity features
- Complete special projects as assigned by leadership
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain organizational commitments and deadlines
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
Requirements
- Prior experience providing administrative and calendar support for multiple stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience managing meetings and scheduling for leadership
- Previous experience supporting team or group operations and coordination
- Experience as a Microsoft vendor or contractor is strongly preferred
- Advanced calendar management and scheduling coordination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for email and calendar management
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills with willingness to learn advanced features including Excel Copilot
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage ambiguity and adapt quickly in dynamic environments
- Problem-solving skills with proactive approach to challenges
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all administrative tasks
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage competing deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills for partnering with stakeholders at all levels
- Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information

Additional Details
- Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)
- Duration: 2 months
- Pay Range*: $27.50 - $31 per hour
- Weekly Schedule: 40 hours
- Job Status: Non-Exempt
