We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Salesforce Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, configuring, and maintaining Salesforce applications, with a focus on system integration and user experience. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure Salesforce is tailored to meet business needs and supports continuous process improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Journey Builder Development — Design, build, and optimize multi-channel customer journeys in Marketing Cloud Journey Builder, including triggered sends, decision splits, and engagement-based paths.
- Email Studio Expertise — Develop, test, and deploy HTML/AMPscript-based email templates in Email Studio, ensuring responsive design, brand compliance, and high deliverability rates.
- Data Extension Management — Create and manage Data Extensions, publication lists, and suppression lists; write SQL queries in Automation Studio for data segmentation and audience building.
- API & Integration Development — Integrate Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM (Sales/Service Cloud) using Marketing Cloud Connect, REST/SOAP APIs, and custom middleware solutions to ensure seamless data synchronization.
- AMPscript & SSJS Development — Write advanced AMPscript and Server-Side JavaScript (SSJS) for dynamic content personalization, conditional logic, and programmatic content rendering across emails and landing pages.
- Automation Studio Workflows — Build and maintain automated marketing workflows using Automation Studio, including scheduled imports, data transforms, SQL activities, and file transfers via SFTP.
- Cloud Pages & Landing Pages — Develop interactive CloudPages using HTML, CSS, AMPscript, and SSJS to support campaign microsites, preference centers, and form-based data capture.
- Analytics & Reporting — Configure and interpret Marketing Cloud Intelligence (Datorama) dashboards and standard reports to track KPIs such as open rates, CTR, bounce rates, and ROI for marketing campaigns.
- Compliance & Deliverability — Enforce CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CCPA compliance standards; manage sender authentication protocols (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) and monitor IP warming strategies to maintain high inbox placement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance — Partner with marketing, IT, and business stakeholders to translate campaign requirements into technical solutions; maintain documentation, follow Salesforce best practices, and support platform governance including user roles, permissions, and security settings.
- Social Media Advertising Experience (Preferred) — Hands-on experience with social media advertising platforms such as Meta Ads Manager (Facebook/Instagram), LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or X (Twitter) Ads is a plus. Familiarity with integrating social ad audiences with Marketing Cloud via Advertising Studio or Audience Builder to create synchronized, cross-channel paid and owned media campaigns is highly desirable.
- Mandatory In-Person Project Presentation (Required) — Candidates are required to bring and present a completed Salesforce Marketing Cloud project to the in-person interview. The presentation should demonstrate hands-on technical work including but not limited to Journey Builder flows, Email Studio templates, Automation Studio workflows, or API integrations. Candidates should be prepared to walk through their design decisions, technical challenges faced, and measurable outcomes delivered by the project. Presentations will be evaluated on technical depth, problem-solving approach, and communication clarity.
