Overview
The
Lead Electrician is responsible for overseeing electrical maintenance, installation, and repair activities while leading and supporting a team of electricians. This role ensures all electrical work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards while delivering high-quality service across assigned facilities.
Pay: $38.00/hour.

Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of electricians and technicians across assigned sites or projects
- Plan, coordinate, and perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshoot complex electrical issues, including power distribution, lighting, motors, and control systems
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with NEC, local codes, and company safety standards
- Review work orders, prioritize tasks, and assign daily responsibilities to team members
- Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
- Maintain and repair electrical systems such as panels, circuits, transformers, generators, and lighting systems
- Support preventative maintenance programs and ensure timely completion of scheduled work
- Train and mentor junior electricians and ensure proper safety practices are followed
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, materials used, and system status
- Coordinate with other trades, contractors, and operations teams as needed
- Respond to emergency electrical issues and support after-hours needs when required
Qualifications
- Must have a Valid Driver's License
- 5+ years of electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or facilities environments
- 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and repair techniques
- Working knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
