Job Summary and Qualifications
The Facilities Engineering Electrician is responsible for performing major electrical troubleshooting tasks and repair of all types of hospital related electrical systems including main electrical distribution system, automatic transfer switch, emergency generator, fire pump, jockey pump, fire alarm system, transformers and any other major electrical systems. Strong knowledge in running conduits and installing breakers, circuitry and transformers. Very knowledgeable in all aspects of high and low voltage including a/c & dc power. Proficient in reading construction blueprints, circuitry layout and electrical riser diagrams. Strong knowledge in National Electrical Code requirements.
