Job Description BAE Systems in York, PA is seeking a 3rd Shift Janitor (10:00pm to 6:30am). In this role you will perform general cleaning in shop areas, cafeterias, emergency and sanitary stations.
- Receive instructions and work orders from Process Supervisor, Assistant Process Supervisor, Lead Person or Self-Directed Work Team
- Clean assigned areas and sweeping into containers provided
- Obtain cleaning materials from storeroom to clean and disinfect sinks, wash stands, drinking fountains, emergency eye wash stations and other sanitary facilities
- Gather scrap wood, empty boxes, dirty rags, garbage, and debris to place into containers provided and place containers in pick-up area
- Cleans and polishes floors, tables and chairs
- Washes windows as required
- Replenish towels, tissues, soaps and air freshner in restrooms as needed
- Use personal computers or other data acquisition devices (i.e. bar-code) as required
- Keeps work area safe and clean
- Other duties as assigned
