This position may be located in Moline, IL, Chicago, IL or Des Moines, IA per the hiring manager's discretion. This may be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience, and proficiency.
As an Attorney for the Litigation & Product Liability Group at John Deere World Headquarters located in Moline, IL, you will be responsible for the following:
- Providing legal advice and counsel related to eDiscovery (including data identification, preservation, collection and review) and evidence preservation
- Managing eDiscovery workflows, including managing large data review projects
- Providing legal advice on discovery, data management, and cross-border data transfers in litigation
- Defending product liability or contract litigation brought against the Company

- 2 or more years of experience managing litigation, including responding to written discovery
- Strong interpersonal collaboration and influencing without authority skills
- Passion for harnessing new technology
- Experience managing eDiscovery workflows
- Experience using Relativity, Purview, Exterro or OnIt
- Experience managing discovery disputes
- Experience defending product liability or contract dispute matters
- Experience managing litigation in-house
- Juris Doctorate degree
- Licensed to practice in the US state and ability to become licensed in Illinois
