Senior Product Marketing Manager, Chariot Marketing — Cross-Channel, Cross-Category Marketing (XCM)
About the Role
Cross-Channel, Cross-Category Marketing (XCM) aims to be the most culturally aware, creatively breakthrough, and measurably effective marketing organization in the world. We strengthen the brand, grow the business, and reduce cost for Amazon. Within XCM, Chariot Marketing owns the worldwide marketing strategy for Amazon's branded delivery fleet, packaging experiences, and emerging physical media channels.
We are looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager who combines exceptional writing with sharp analytical thinking to lead brand-building initiatives that operate at global scale. This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of creative strategy, channel invention, and data-driven decision-making — someone who can draft a compelling creative brief in the morning, pressure-test a measurement framework over lunch, and align a room of cross-functional stakeholders by end of day.
Key Responsibilities
Global Portfolio Strategy. Own the end-to-end marketing strategy for Amazon's owned and operated channels globally — developing campaigns that reinforce Amazon's brand across marketplace priorities (e.g., Prime, Amazon Retail). Own creative briefing and guide creative development and timelines through close coordination with Creative, Operations, and Product. Drive the strategic roadmap for emerging channels, building the business cases to bring new capabilities from concept through validation to scale.
Operations, Marketing & Business Integration. This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy and operations. You will partner directly with operational teams to understand fleet deployment schedules, label print and application workflows, packaging specifications, and delivery station logistics — then translate those realities back into marketing plans that are both ambitious and executable. Success requires fluency in the operations of the physical channels — you do not need to own these systems, but you must be able to ask the right questions, identify risk, and ensure that marketing commitments match operational capacity.
Strategic Communications & Decision Framing. Write recommendations, stakeholder updates, and strategy documents that are concise, insight-led, and built to drive decisions. Translate complex program narratives into clear strategic recommendations that build alignment and move work forward. Frame alternatives with specificity — articulate trade-offs, estimate business impact, and distinguish one-way from two-way doors.
Analytical Rigor & Measurement. Partner with Science and Operations teams to define campaign measurement frameworks, evaluate performance against target perceptions and high-value actions (HVAs), and translate complex data into clear strategic recommendations. Conduct performance deep-dives, build learning agendas, and set the strategic measurement priorities for the channel. Identify when data is directional versus conclusive and communicate uncertainty with intellectual honesty.
Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management. Lead alignment across a broad stakeholder ecosystem spanning internal Amazon teams, Creative, Legal, Science, Operations, and Global marketing teams. Navigate competing priorities, resource constraints, and partner escalations across organizations. Serve as the connective backbone between teams — educating cross-functional partners on channel strategy, managing expectations, and driving shared understanding of how the work ladders up.
What Success Looks Like
Within 90 days, you have authored or refined the current batch of campaign briefs, established relationships with key cross-functional partners, and developed a point of view on what's working and what needs to change. Within six months, you are the person stakeholders seek out when they need a crisp recommendation backed by evidence — and the person the team trusts to put the right words on the page. Within a year, you have measurably advanced the strategic position of Chariot Marketing's brand-building programs and are shaping the roadmap for what comes next.
