Summary of Position
JobsOhio is seeking a Creative Services Project Managerto join our team. This role understands how to balance organization with creative output through project coordination and marketing skills. They will empower creative workflow by immersing themselves into various creative projects, both internal within the organizations integrated marketing team and with our agency partners. Working alongside the Director, Creative Services, they will drive forward creative projects while identifying gaps in workflow/processes and presenting solutions to improve and optimize outcomes. They understand creative ideation and strategic storytelling and can efficiently communicate project goals and objectives. Additionally, they can affectively multitask to move forward various creative needs including video, motion graphics, design, copywriting, photography, and more while balancing key stakeholders and navigating rigorous timelines. They are detail oriented, thrive in collaboration and excel at proactive communication. They are comfortable communicating creative needs, so an understanding of creative development, processes and technical approach is key to achieving desired outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive forward creative projects and logistics including timelines, workflow resources and capacity projections for internal team members and agency partners—balancing day-to-day operations with new strategic initiatives.
- Complete ownership and execution of creative processes for our project management software and digital asset management tools.
- Work within an Integrated Marketing Team and meet with key stakeholders to identify project goals, scope and needs of creative projects while effectively translating creative deliverables and expectations.
- Efficiently and effectively manage day-to-day creative challenges and communicate proactively to various stakeholders. Understand when (and why) to escalate issues to Director, Creative Services.
- Constantly look for ways to identify and communicate solutions to optimize operational efficiencies/ improvements to maximize workflow and outcomes.
- Keeps internal teams and agency partners up to date on projects through various communication channels including project management tools, projects meetings, email and slack communications.
- Coordinate various creative projects including video production, photography, creative for events and advertisements and more.
- Responsible steward of organization resources and budgets.
- Liaison for JobsOhio with various vendors/ agency partners as assigned
- Support communicating creative direction and vision to assigned creative team members and agency partners to ensure projects are moving forward on time and on budget.
- Support creative ideation aligned with Brand Strategy goals and key stakeholder objectives.
- Review a wide range of creative deliverables for goal alignment
Qualifications
Experience Requirements
- 3-5 years of creative project management and/or operations experience within an advertising/marketing agency or creative team
- Experience coordinating agency relationships and working with Creative teams.
- Experience working in Project Management Software and Digital Asset Management tools
- Strong understanding on marketing and communication goals and objectives
- Strong vendor management and/or project management experience, including experience working with agencies and/or an integrated marketing team
- Strong cross-functional team relationship management
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize projects with highest impact
- Strong attention to detail and an excellent communicator
- Engaged, flexible, motivated and success driven
- Manage challenging situations and stakeholders
- Capable of critical thinking, with an eye for detail
- Resourceful attitude and the ability to motivate vendors to deliver quality products on budget
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
