Program Summary
KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.
Job Summary
Responsible for advising the Program Manager, Site Manager and Human Resources Supervisor on personnel matters; along with, but not limited to those listed below.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for advising the Program Manager, Site Manager and Human Resources Supervisor on personnel matters.
- Responsible for advising Program Manager, Site Manager, Managers and Supervisors regarding Spanish labor laws, the CLA, and appropriate administrative actions.
- Responsible for addressing concern of the Spanish labor authorities and working to achieve resolutions.
- Acts as the primary liaison between Site Management and the Labor Committee members.
- Attends and keeps records of required meetings using Microsoft Office suite.
- Coordinates preparation of court cases and other labor legal issues with the KBR Law Firm.
- Prepares and maintains the Monthly Litigation Report.
- Receives legal correspondence and submits court notice reports to KBR PMO & HQ.
- Plans and coordinates the flow of work.
- Develops and administers control procedures for the safeguarding of Company resources and compliance with Company policy.
- Monitors and approves all outgoing reports and correspondence.
- Translates from English to Spanish or Spanish to English.
- Responsible for advising managers of issues affecting the company finances, taxes, payroll, the CLA, or any suspected case of fraud, waste or abuse.
- Responsible for the application of the Personal Data Protection program and ensuring absolute confidentiality of company and personnel information.
- Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Must demonstrate appropriate level of professionalism, tact and customer service orientation.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of management
- May perform other tasks as assigned by management. Assist other members of Program Management Office and Site Management as needed
Basic Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of five years of experience and progressive responsibility in labor relations.
- Education: Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree related to Spanish labor laws from an accredited college or university.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently and at a professional level.
- Must possess a “B” class driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Possess a working knowledge of the Performance Work Statement and government regulations.
