Program Summary
KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.
Job Summary
Manages a total of 676 facilities, linear structures, structures and land record. Constantly reconciles data with different CE sections, i.e. Geobase office, Environmental, Engineering, Operations promoting accurate and consistent information. Participate in design meetings and project inspections. Review Support Agreements, provide input and maintain copies. Performs duties as Facility Manager Trainer-Schedule new appointees training and sends supporting document links, updates distribution list, schedules refresher training, Monthly review of DEROS dates, out processes personnel as needed.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage USAF Real Property IAW current versions of Playbooks, AF, DoD, UFC 1-300-08, DAFPD 32-90, AFI 32-9002 and applicable USAFE Instructions, Supplements, and policy memoranda.
- Exercise CE responsibilities concerning real property acquisition, accounting, reporting, facility use, and disposal including return to Host Nation (HN) as set forth in applicable directives and with consideration of the NATO/SOFA, DECA, and any other arrangements between USAF and HN.
- Maintain real property accountable records within the official Air Force database (NexGen IT, or any successor IT system or platform as designated by 496 ABS BCE).
- Update and maintain any database tools provided by the Air Force with current real property data.
- Prepare documents to the 496 ABS Real Property Officials (RPOs) for review and approval.
- Accomplish physical inventories and boundary inspections IAW the respective regulatory guidance.
- Process and submit required HN documents for facility registration, de-registration, transfer, or other transactions upon completion of new construction, major alterations, and demolition, upon 496 ABS BCE review and approval.
- Establish and maintain documentation regarding return to HN IAW DODI 4165.59, para 3.2.
- Support HHQ functional offices in residual value negotiations and calculations of U.S. investments on an as needed basis.
- Daily use of organizational and multitasking abilities with a focus on detail, accuracy and quality of work
Basic Qualifications
- Must have ability to communicate in Spanish and read, write, speak, and understand English level B2.
- Spanish Class B driver’s license.
- Must have administrative degree or experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- English Reading Level C1, Writing Level C1, and Speaking Level C1
- WMGT 424 Realty Management Course or understand the concepts, principles, processes, and practices associated with the life cycle (acquisition, management, accountability, and disposal) of Air Force real property assets.
- Experience with NEXGEN IT
