Program Summary
KBR supports the operational needs of U.S. armed forces at Morón Air Base in Spain and several bases in Turkey. Our services ensure smooth operations, allowing Air Force and government personnel to focus on their missions. We provide program management, civil engineering, morale, welfare, and recreation support, among other essential services. Awarded by the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, our contract spans a five-year base period with three one-year options, reflecting our commitment to excellence and operational support.
Job Summary
Administers inventory control, shipping and receiving of materials. Checks parts and materials for damage and verifies quantity, part number, and serial number of received/shipped items. Records and prepares status reports of requested and received items. Inspects and manages tool kits, equipment, parts and materials for proper operation and follows OSHA regulations, USAF safety directives, and NFPA standards as they apply to material control and handling. Follows applicable host nation and USAF environmental regulations as required.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Inspect, inventory, ship and receive RADR equipment/items IAW established standards, applicable regulations, T.O.s and/or manufacture’s manuals.
- Use ILS-S to manage the Maintenance Repair Spares Package (MRSP), Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) to document inspections, maintenance, and status for applicable equipment items, other USG designated systems.
- Provide RADR Inventory Report (RR) to include monthly status of all equipment/items to include geolocation, condition, and equipment status.
- Reconstitute deployed equipment returned to storage status IAW applicable TOs and commercial manuals.
- Maintains audit-ready purchase requisitions, material receipts, and inventory records.
- Light lifting of items weighing up to 30 kilograms
- Moderate exposure to various environmental factors including dust, wide temperature ranges, noise, vibrations, fumes, harsh chemicals, odors, pollens, grasses, grease, machinery and moving parts.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and driving, as well as frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, both indoors and outdoors.
- Occasional exposure to inclement weather and hazardous work conditions.
- Operate a forklift inside a warehouse
Basic Qualifications
- Must have at least four years’ experience in material and inventory control.
- Must have ability to communicate in Spanish and read, write, speak, and understand English level B2.
- High school completion or equivalent.
- Spanish Class B driver’s license.
- Have or be able to learn the ability to operate a forklift.
Preferred Qualifications
- English Reading Level C1, Writing Level C1, and Speaking Level C1
