The Opportunity
Reporting to the Queensland Office Manager, you will be responsible for general administrative duties, providing high level project administrative assistance to engineers and project management staff across a variety of exciting projects. This includes task such as formatting documents, project invoicing, procurement activities utilising KBR systems such as SAP and OnBase, organising meetings, minute taking, travel bookings and a variety of other support tasks depending on project scope and stage.
Generally, you will work independently with minimal guidance while also contributing to the collaborative culture of the administration team who value team work and inclusivity. As a part of the team, you will share some of the reception and facilities duties, including covering the front desk when members of the team are on leave or during breaks.
In addition to the coordination of a variety of admin functions, you’ll be monitoring staff administration requirements and managing important KBR project processes and systems.

Who you are
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting administrative requirements in a consultancy environment on large infrastructure and construction projects. You have the ability to work autonomously and efficiently, supporting project delivery to a high standard. You are adaptable to ever changing requirements and objectives and can handle the pressure of negotiating deadlines and prioritizing workload.
You have demonstrated that you can build relationships with a variety of people from different professional backgrounds and disciplines. This gives you the ability to communicate effectively, both in person and via written communication. You are a team player; KBR is a team of Teams, so you are excited about contributing to our success.
Ideally you will have the following skills and experience:
•Experience providing high level administrative support to major infrastructure and construction projects or similar
•Understanding of how a project administration team operates
•Proactive approach to project administration and operations tasks
•Extensive experience utilising Microsoft office package. SAP, OnBase and Concur experience would be a benefit
•Strong time management, organizational and numerical skills
