The franchised Trademark by Wyndham location in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania is seeking a Banquet Sous Chef (Franchise) to join its team at the Penn Harris Hotel and Convention Center.
The Role
As the Banquet Sous Chef, you will assist the Banquet Chef in managing the kitchen operations for all banquet events. Your culinary skills and leadership will contribute to the creation of memorable dining experiences for our guests.
What you'll do
- Assist in planning and executing banquet menus that reflect the hotel's standards and guest expectations.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation regulations are followed.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef on inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining kitchen equipment.
- Support the team during large events, ensuring smooth operations and timely service.
You'll be successful if you have
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Passion for culinary excellence and creativity
Required Qualifications/Experience
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in banquet or catering services.
