DJBOSS:HR Specialist
Job Summary:
Develops, implements, analyzes, and administers results for a specialized HR function such as, compensation, benefits, HR systems, staffing, learning & development, international, other HR disciplines. Certification or advanced study within a recognized area of specialization is preferred.
Under general supervision, and occasional direct supervision, perform assignments requiring experience and knowledge of standard concepts within their field. Displays core job competencies by analyzing possible solutions using standard procedures while developing advanced skills. Skills required for this job are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provides customer service to all employees of the day-to-day Travel Operations, including ticketing and booking functions.
- Process Airfare Entitlements for the Employee’s traveling on Interim Leaves for Djibouti, Bahrain and Jebel Ali,
- Proven track record of maintaining employee Confidentiality and Integrity
- Workday and SAP experience preferred.
- Able to work under strict deadlines.
- Create, organize, plan, and present various forms of onboarding to include New Hire Orientation for employees.
- Present training and development programs via Workday.
- Provide back-up support on processing of the Djibouti Work Permit and DJBOSS Base Clearance
- Implement and Maintain the DJBOSS travel process for Business and New Hire Movement
- Superior attention to detail.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience as a HR Specialist.
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Military Base Access
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card
- Must have a Country Driver License
Preferred Qualifications
- Able to obtain and maintain a background clearance
- Ability to multi-task between and oversee all aspects of Onboarding and continuous improvement of Candidate Experience.
