What you will do:
- Develop and optimize high-quality database solutions that support business needs.
- Use Power BI to extract, analyze, and visually present data through interactive reports and dashboards.
- Write, implement, and fine-tune stored procedures and functions using T-SQL for efficiency and performance.
- Analyze existing SQL queries to identify and implement performance improvements.
- Design and execute data migration procedures to ensure smooth transitions between systems.
- Work closely with business partners and analysts to understand data needs and create effective database solutions.
- Communicate database designs and best practices to the team for seamless implementation.
- Document technical designs, implementation plans, test cases, and other key project details.
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferably Computer Science or Engineering) or equivalent combination of experience, education and military.
- 4–6 years of experience in programming principles, methods, and technologies.
- 3-5 years of SQL programming experience, including writing and optimizing complex queries.
- Experience with data management tools such as enterprise repositories, data modeling, data quality, and data mapping tools.
- Proficiency in ETL development and data integration processes.
- Ability to analyze and optimize database performance for efficiency and scalability.
- Experience designing and implementing database structures to support business applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
What would be great to have:
- Experience working with geographically dispersed teams.
- Web development experience using .NET.
- Background in the financial industry or payment processing.
