What does a successful Business Risk Manager do?
A successful Business Risk Manager at Fiserv is essential in interpreting rules, identifying requirements, and supporting network changes across various Fiserv systems. They work collaboratively with Channel Partners and Clients on compliance-related matters, ensuring seamless integration and adherence to changes. By reviewing documentation, summarizing change impacts, and educating stakeholders, they drive operational excellence and enhance the payment acceptance process within the company.
What you will do:
- Review and interpret Debit network change/release documentation and requests.
- Analyze, determine, and document business impacts and risks associated with Debit Network changes.
- Summarize change requirements and impacts on Fiserv clients and/or merchants.
- Create, distribute, and present information for new programs, processes, or procedures related to Debit Network changes/releases.
- Educate internal/external Fiserv employees and clients on network payment acceptance-related issues.
- Provide payment acceptance expertise support to Fiserv employees, Channels, and clients.
- Act as an escalation point for highly escalated production issues and report resolutions appropriately.
What you will need to have:
- 6+ years of experience in client and technical support, research, and problem-solving.
- 6+ years of experience in payment processing with a strong working knowledge of Fiserv platforms.
- 6+ years of experience using Excel, Word, Adobe (PDF), and DocuSign.
- Possess excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work, stay focused, and organize in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure to resolve production service issues.
- Self-motivated with the tenacity to drive complicated problems to resolution and long-term prevention.
What would be great to have:
- 8+ years of experience in project management using Agile methodologies.
- 8+ years of experience in SQL databases.
- 8+ years of experience in AWS Cloud Services.
- Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) certification.
- Familiarity with financial technology products and services.
