The Maintenance / Machine Integration Engineer is responsible for new machine installation, development and execution of maintenance schedules, and support to the development and integration of new automated stations within the plant. In this role, you will manage equipment registration, ensure high availability of industrial and test equipment, and actively contribute to automation projects in cooperation with cross-functional teams.
The mission of the Maintenance / Machine Integration Engineer is to secure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of production and test equipment, while supporting continuous improvement through predictive maintenance and automation. You will collaborate closely with production, engineering, and external suppliers to ensure that new machines and automated stations are properly integrated, validated, and supported throughout their lifecycle.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to use your programming skills (PLC, LabVIEW) to contribute to automated systems development, diagnostics, and data-based maintenance solutions.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Register new and existing equipment in the Assets module and maintain accurate equipment records
Develop, implement, and execute preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for industrial and test equipment
Design and support predictive maintenance systems, including data collection, condition monitoring, and early fault detection
Perform routine machine checks and small repairs, ensuring minimum downtime and safe operation
Support troubleshooting of electrical, control, and basic mechanical issues on production and test equipment
Cooperate with the automation and engineering teams in the development and integration of new automated stations into existing processes
Contribute to automated systems development, including PLC logic, LabVIEW test applications, and Python/C++ scripts for diagnostics or data processing
Participate in the installation, commissioning, and validation of new machines and automated stations
Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing equipment reliability, safety, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE)
Document work carried out on equipment and ensure proper communication of issues, risks, and proposed solutions to relevant stakeholders
Required Qualifications
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
Minimum 3 years of experience in maintenance of industrial with the following: 480v 3-phase motors, transformers, variable frequency drives, PLCs, safety relays and safety circuits, power supplies, motor control centers.
Practical experience in PLC programming
Experience with LabVIEW programming
Experience with electrical measurements, diagnostics, and use of measurement equipment
Programming skills in Python and/or C++ will be a strong plus
Fluent English, both written and spoken
