We are experiencing growth and looking for an RF Engineer for our Dallas, TX location.
We are seeking an early-career RF Engineer to join our Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) Center of Excellence (COE) team in Dallas. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, calibrating, troubleshooting, operating and maintaining advanced RF HWIL systems, subsystems, and components. Additionally, they will design RF circuits, perform signal integrity measurements, analyze real-time simulation output, and manage the repair and replacement of RF subsystem components. You will work under senior staff to operate, calibrate, and maintain RF HWIL test systems while gaining hands on experience in RF circuit design and signal integrity testing.
What You Will Be DoingKey Responsibilities:
• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and perform routine maintenance on HWIL subsystems (couplers, attenuators, phase shifters, mixers, filters, isolators, etc.).
• Assist senior engineers in the design and layout of basic RF circuits such as up converters, down converters, and local oscillator distribution networks.
• Conduct signal integrity measurements using vector network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes.
• Support analysis of real time, closed loop HWIL simulation output; perform quick look data reduction and report any performance anomalies.
• Help coordinate repair or replacement of faulty RF components, maintaining an inventory of spare parts.
• Participate in weekly technical reviews and contribute observations for continuous improvement.

Discover more about our Dallas, Texas location.Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
• Foundational knowledge of RF/Electrical design, test equipment operation, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
• Hands on experience (coursework, labs, internships, or projects) with network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, or similar RF test equipment.
• Interim Secret Security Clearance is needed to start, therefore you must be a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:• Exposure to real time, closed loop RF HWIL simulators (e.g., academic projects, university labs).
• Familiarity with configuration and data management tools for hardware/software.
• Introductory experience with GPS simulators (e.g., Spirent) or other signal generators.
• Basic Linux command line skills (navigation, scripting).

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
