Description:You will be the Subcontract Administrator Staff for the Subcontract Administration team. Our team is responsible for managing complex subcontracting activities that support major construction, material, equipment, and service contracts.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Subcontract Administrator Staff you will be responsible for developing subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms, preparing bid packages, and leading negotiations to secure high‑value agreements. You will guide major projects from inception through award and administration, ensuring compliance with organizational objectives.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms for major specialized procurements.
- Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders’ conferences, and evaluate proposals against defined criteria.
- Negotiate subcontract provisions, select or recommend subcontractors, and administer awarded subcontracts.
- Coordinate additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts and collaborate with contracts administration and purchasing.
- Provide leadership on major projects, influencing decisions and engaging senior personnel.

Basic Qualifications:• Knowledge and experience purchasing under FAR/DFAR, LMAP, CAP, and other acquisition policies and procedures.
• Expertise in building trades, materials, industrial gases, machinery, and maintenance.
• Proactive attitude with excellent customer‑service skills.
• Ability to manage a challenging workload efficiently and effectively.
• Strong problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Self‑starter who thrives as an excellent team player.
• Strong computer proficiency, including experience with SAP or an equivalent system.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
