Who You Are
The F35 Core Processing Software (CPSW) Technical Lead will help lead the development of real time, embedded F35 Core Processor Interface (CPI) Middleware and Core Processor Applications software for Airborne Software.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee software/interface maturation roadmaps and maintain alignment of the lines of development
- Collaborate with stakeholders (both internal and external) in support of the warfighter for technical content and overall product integrity and quality
- Work closely with F35 SI&T to maximize system stability
- Support technology linkage and knowledge sharing with the team
- Collaborate with Software Domains and LOB on capability/feature/defect implementation for Software Integration
- Responsible for managing overall Tech Debt, SPARs, burn down plans and RCCA coordination
- Responsible for teams’ capacity modeling and backlog
- Responsible for leading team PI planning
- Responsible for ensuring SEAL 1/TCB domain changes are performed in optimized groupings to reduce required certifications
- Coordination with Product Owners and other peer organizations to ensure the design and implementation of CPSW software to address the complex needs of the customer

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or above from an accredited college in a software related major, or equivalent experience/combined education
- Advanced experience with the C and C++ programming languages
- Experience with F35 program/architecture or architectures typically found in aircraft systems
- Experience in flight software qualification testing and security/safety certification efforts
- Experience with large agile real time software development
- Technical and/or Project Leadership experience.
Must be a US citizen. This position requires special access and a Secret clearance updated within the last 5 years to be considered.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
