Description:What You Will Be Doing: The Level 2 Field Sales Support Systems Engineer provides technical expertise and hands on support for a variety of customer facing initiatives, most notably the F 35 Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) effort, the “Try It Before You Buy It” effort, and other projects within the Field Operations portfolio. This role will work across the different sustainment functions and business areas to help shape how we delivery sustainment for the warfighter.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or combination of experience and education
Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to convey technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance (Secret minimum).
Ability to work effectively across sustainment, logistics, program management, and business teams.
Desired Skills:F‑35 program exposure – Direct experience working on F‑35 sustainment.
Project‑management exposure – Ability to manage small projects, schedule dependencies, and risk registers.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
