Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Procurement Agent (Level 5) to join the Aircraft Materials & Structures (AM&S) Primary Structures Supply Chain team in Everett, Washington.
The selected candidate will lead the focus on program objectives while serving as a key leadership level interface representative of the Supply Chain Primary Structures team.
This position will lead and execute high complexity, high visibility, high impact projects across the Structures commodity interfacing with key stakeholders across Boeing and our supply chain. Seeking individuals who will act as a formal mentor and Subject Matter Expert for the Structures commodity with a focus and emphasis on process, compliance, strategy, and career development and a strong desire to train others and help them grow. The desired candidate is a high performing Procurement Agent, well versed in BCA Supply Chain processes and tools including extensive experience working and negotiating with BCA Suppliers. Position Responsibilities:
Responsible for creating and leading executive level communication efforts and presenting at an executive level.
Develops and implements procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies for the Structures organization to support work statement such as work transfers and high visibility complex supplier recoveries.
Provides training and mentorship of all procurement processes to team members.Mentors coworkers through individual projects, provides expertise and guidance and fosters independent work and team proficiency growth.
Develops and executes company business goals and objectives in an effort to attain on time delivery and quality performance ensuring continued progress supporting supplier and organizational get to gold strategies.
Ensures compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Develops organizational and supplier improvement plans to strategically implement/increase supplier quality performance.
Effective communicator leading cross functional activities between Program leadership, Engineering, and Supply Chain.
Develops, consults, and implements procurement and supply chain solutions, strategies and policies for the structures organization to support work statement such as work transfers and high visibility complex supplier recoveries.
Initiates and develops program strategies, analysis, and continuous improvements pulling in previous program and team leading experiences.
Self-starting, working with urgency, autonomy, understanding details.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
The position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
7+ years of experience with supply chain and procurement processes
7+ years of experience cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships, and proficiency in written and verbal communication
7+ years of experience interfacing with and presenting to senior and/or executive leadership
7+ years of experience analyzing data to extract insights for strategic decision-making and planning
Proficient in all Microsoft Office suite applications
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
10+ years of experience in working with cross-functional teams
10+ years of experience with supply chain and procurement processes

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: $148,000-$200,000
