Boeing’s India engineering team is currently looking for a highly analytical and detail oriented Business Operations Specialist who will work closely with the leadership across the enterprise to run the day-to-day operations of our engineering capabilities in India. The position reports to Manager – Business Operations based out of Bangalore. This team is responsible for business operations Boeing India Engineering and Technology Centre (BIETC).
The role focuses on analyzing, reporting large scale data -set to support data driven decision making.
Position Responsibilities:
Position encompasses a variety of responsibilities around Boeing’s Business operations across BIETC.
Design, Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and automated reports
Lead and maintain KPI formulation, standardization, tracking and governance.
The successful candidate will be able to lead , define and documents key metrics through Data collection, analysis and interpretation to resolve operational issues.
Ensure data governance, accuracy, consistency across system. Support forecasting and scenario analysis
Drive integration and support standardization across operations (wherever required ) between different teams
Responsible for developing internal documentation and processes
Coordinates engineering change proposals and baseline support concepts and challenges inconsistencies for clarification.
Define, implement, maintain and improve processes, tools and metrics that govern and support the operations.
Enabling senior leadership to make timely, data driven decisions on key choices the organization needs to make.
Developing and maintaining partnering relationships, collaboration with support functions to ensure engineering team’s requirements across global sites are met.
Developing and maintaining partnering relationships with program leaders, stakeholders, peers, partners.
Deliver ad-hoc analysis and rapid insights in response to evolving business needs
Effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines
Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance and technical support to team members
Providing education and coaching to other team members.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
4+ years of experience in project management.
2+ years of experience in business operations, strategy roles
Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Power BI /Tableau
Tools & Technologies - Power BI, Tableau, Advanced Excel, MS Office, SharePoint , Python & Power Query (optional)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Education and experience acquired through MBA/PGDM master’s degree/diploma in Data Analytics and related field is preferred.
Experience in aerospace or manufacturing industry
Familiarity with automation tools
Demonstrated high level of dependability, initiative, adaptability, decision-making, and problem solving skills.
Excellent Communication fluent in both written and verbal English.
SME leadership and knowledge sharing skill
Proven ability to handle ambiguity, ad-hoc requests and changing priorities
