Overall Purpose:
Serve as a trusted advisor supporting employee relations by resolving workplace concerns, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and promoting a respectful, mission‑focused work environment. This role leverages strong judgment, clear communication, and experience navigating complex situations—skills commonly developed through leadership, command, or advisory roles in military or structured organizations.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Typical duties may include but are not limited to:
- Investigations & Issue Resolution- Conduct fair, objective investigations into concerns such as misconduct, harassment, discrimination, or policy violations.
- Apply structured problem‑solving, fact‑finding, and documentation skills to resolve issues efficiently and impartially.
- Use mediation and negotiation techniques to de‑escalate conflict and restore effective working relationships. Policy & Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to applicable labor laws, regulations, and internal policies—similar to following and enforcing regulations, directives, and standards.
- Assist with developing, updating, and applying policies and procedures consistently and fairly across teams. Advising Leaders & Stakeholders
- Act as a liaison between employees and leadership, ensuring concerns are elevated appropriately and addressed with discretion and integrity.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to managers and senior leaders on employee relations matters, risk mitigation, and consistent policy application.

- Support employee engagement efforts, performance improvement plans, and training initiatives.
- Assist with sensitive actions such as corrective actions or separations, ensuring processes are handled respectfully and in alignment with policy.
- Analyze data and trends to inform leadership decisions and improve workforce outcomes.
- Perform other related duties as mission needs require.
