About this Position
As
a Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in leading end-to-end logistics
operations in Turkey, ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality
delivery of goods. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and
external partners to optimize warehousing, transportation, and distribution
processes while maintaining strong service levels.
This
role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong operational
expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for continuous improvement.
You will act as a strategic partner in driving logistics excellence,
digitalization, and sustainability initiatives.
What you´ll do
- Lead end-to-end logistics operations in Turkey,
including warehousing, domestic transportation, import, and export
activities
- Manage daily logistics operations to ensure the safe
and efficient movement of goods and materials
- Develop operational schedules, transportation methods,
and distribution routes to optimize logistics performance
- Manage & control logistics costs and coordinate
customs clearance procedures and permits
- Lead warehousing and distribution processes in line
with corporate standards to optimize resources and achieve volume targets
- Collaborate with shipping agencies and transportation
providers to ensure smooth logistics operations
- Manage and drive operational excellence across
warehousing and transportation activities for all business units
- Optimize market logistics costs while maintaining
agreed service level targets
- Lead and drive sustainability initiatives and logistics
improvement projects at the local level
- Take active part in tenders and logistics purchasing
agreements
- Monitor logistics performance and drive supply chain
digitization through the use of KPIs, big data, and integrated systems
- Represent Henkel Logistics in local and international
internal/external working groups and industry bodies
