Job Description
This role will be based in São Paulo.
At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team.
We are looking for a senior Power BI developer with strong expertise in either data visualization or data modeling — or a hybrid of both — to help build scalable, insight-driven BI solutions that drive business decisions. Candidates should possess solid knowledge of dashboard design and storytelling, data modeling best practices, or both, as well as a proven ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable reporting. Experience with DAX, data model architecture, visualization design, or user experience are all valued, and the ideal candidate brings the depth to excel in at least one of these disciplines. Above all, we are looking for skilled collaborators who can bridge stakeholder needs with data capabilities to deliver high-impact solutions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
What You’ll Do:
Apply visualization best practices, design standards, and/or data modeling principles to ensure high-quality, scalable, and consistent BI solutions.
Develop and maintain semantic layer components including calculated measures, DAX logic, table relationships, and data model architecture as needed.
Troubleshoot issues across the BI stack, including visualization performance, data model inefficiencies, user adoption challenges, and report accuracy concerns.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
4+ years of experience with a BI tool in a data modeling, visualization, or hybrid capacity (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Economics, Business Information Technology or related field and 2+ years of experience working with data systems or tools in a business setting
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience supporting Sales organizations through BI solutions, including familiarity with common sales metrics, pipeline reporting, quota attainment, and forecasting
Familiarity with complementary Microsoft technologies (e.g., SharePoint, Teams integration, Microsoft Fabric) that enhance the Power BI ecosystem
