MQ-25 Air Vehicle Operator/Pilot
KBR is seeking a highly qualified MQ-25 Air Vehicle Operator to support tasking at the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) for the UX-24 Test Squadron in Patuxent River/Webster Field, MD.
As part of the world’s largest independent flight test organization, supporting both US Government and commercial agencies, you will be joining a highly talented and experienced aircrew services team that has provided over 40 continuous years of Test Aircrew support for NAVAIR. As a long-term incumbent and leader in test aircrew expertise, the selected applicant will work within the UX-24 environment composed of government, military, contractor, and industry personnel while supporting flight test. This position serves as the MQ-25 Air Vehicle Operator (AVO) and will provide all aspects of project officer duties for the MQ-25 test program. Must be able to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Clearance & Citizenship: Must be a US Citizen with an active/current DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain and maintain. Applicant selected may be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Education: Must be a graduate of one of the following test pilot schools: USNTPS, USAFTPS, Empire Test Pilot School, or EPNER Test Pilot School
Flight Hours/Certifications/Designations Required:
- A minimum of 1500 flight hours in fixed/rotary/unmanned aircraft
- A minimum of 100 hours in UAS Group 4/5 aircraft
- Must be able to maintain an FAA Class II medical certificate
- Individuals must be able to pass the physical and training qualification requirements to provide contract aircrew support, including completion of survival and aviation physiology training.
Experience:
- At least 5 years of related experience, including 3 or more years of Test Project Officer experience in military test and evaluation.
- Must have the ability to direct test aircraft operations planning, scheduling, execution, and reporting for the MQ-25
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Aircraft carrier experience is highly desired
Compensation: $160,380-240,000. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
